The Star Mansion Sales Center project is located near the old city of Xiangzhou, with a river separating it from Macau. Matrix Design has used a visual focus-guided approach to create a space that plays with lines, volumes, and colors. The result is a color time tunnel that feels holographic and immersive, a unique feature that sets this design apart from others.
The design was inspired by the concept of "time and space" and "vitality". The designers used extreme materials, shapes, and contrasts to enhance the spatial texture contrast, and used highly tensioned colors to create a collision and split effect. This approach has resulted in a heterogeneous space-time that is distinctly youthful.
The main materials used in the project include blue gray lacquering board, orange lacquering board, artificial stone, colored gradient glass, steel mirror, hard package, snowflake white flat brick, assorted-color floor tile, aluminum strip, and dark gray stainless steel. The project covers a total of 600 square meters, creating a spacious and vibrant environment.
The design process was not without its challenges. The "Surface of the Planet" in the sand panel was inspired by the Living sculpture created by Berlin's White viod Christopher Bauder and Philips. The space ceiling is composed of numerous small mirror flat plates, combined with immersive light technology made by light-emitting diodes, and released through the combination of sound and electricity to shape a starry, brilliant interstellar space.
In conclusion, Matrix Design's Star Mansion Sales Center project is a unique and innovative exploration of space, color, and the concept of time. It offers a vibrant, immersive experience that is designed to appeal to a young, dynamic customer base. The design's success is reflected in its receipt of the prestigious Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021.
